Just For Me Spa is located in the historic river town of Stillwater Minnesota. In 1848, the process began to establish Minnesota as a state, was held on the corner of Myrtle and Main Street downtown. This gave Stillwater its famous name, The Birthplace of Minnesota.

Stillwater’s Lumber Company was one of the largest lumber mills in the country. With river connections to the northern Minnesota and Wisconsin pine lands, still waters for assembling rafts, and waterpower, Stillwater quickly became a favorite and one of the largest cities in the state.

Today, Stillwater has become a tourist destination. With antique shops, river boat tours, bed and breakfasts, local breweries, and many unique restaurants, it is not hard to see why people love this old lumber mill town.

In 1988, Heidi, a Stillwater native, opened Just For Me Spa. Leasing 2700 ft2 space in an old Victorian building downtown Stillwater. Just a few short years later, in 1990; she purchased an old dairy building just up the hill from historic downtown Stillwater. This allowed her to expand to a full body health and wellness facility.

In 1996, Heidi purchased a small blue house adjacent to Just For Me Spa for the future expansion. After major renovations, the little blue house was ready to merge with the current health and wellness facility. Allowing Just For Me “The Spa” to open in 1999.

Continuing to expand, three residential properties adjacent to Just For Me Spa were purchased between 2005 – 2007, and renovated to create a destination spa experience. These homes are now available for guest to rent at a nightly rate.

After discovering her true passion was operating a destination spa, Heidi closed down the fitness center in 2016. This change allowed for the addition of The Himalayan Salt Cave Sanctuary. The Himalayan Salt Cave Sanctuary was built and opened in 2017. Offering dry salt therapy benefits as well as further relaxation and meditation.

Renovating the existing lap pool proved to be no easy task, the wet area was ready to be re-opened February of 2020. The wet area now features a large Mineral Pool (designed for full body soaking), Whirlpool and Dry Sauna.

Just For Me Spa continues to grow and expand as a large full service destination Spa. This fulfills the Spa’s mission statement “we are committed to inspire a healthy attitude towards life through our services which help individuals achieve physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.”
