The Himalayan Salt Cave Sanctuary
Bring purification and balance to the skin and respiratory system while you close your eyes or gaze into the starry sky and breathe in tiny salt particles. A warm Sherpa blanket and zero-gravity chairs in a peaceful salt cave setting allow for blissful relaxation benefits.
Breathing in the salt particles that are concentrated in salt caves have been known to be a natural benefit to the upper respiratory system. The 84 trace minerals the Himalayan salt carries are also absorbed. Additionally, the salt generates negative ions which help purify and balance the body.
Halotherapy, also known as dry salt therapy, is a holistic approach that mimics the microclimate of a salt cave. Using 99.99% pharmaceutical grade sodium chloride, dry salt air is dispersed into an enclosed environment through a unique process generated by a halogenerator machine. This type of treatment is a safe and effective way of using salt’s natural antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and super absorbent properties to provide relief for respiratory and skin conditions.
Salt Cave sessions are 45-minutes and are held every hour on the hour starting at 8:00 am. The Salt Cave doors close promptly on the hour. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled time to secure your belongings in a provided locker and to fill out paperwork. No special clothing is required and booties and Sherpa blanket are provided for each guest. Drop-ins are permitted but appointments are strongly recommended.
